Previous Step: Connecting your account


Once you have successfully connected your Pipedrive account, you can start mapping your Pipedrive fields to Slintel fields. 

 

Once successfully connected, You will see two tabs: 

  • People tab is for mapping leads

  • Organization tab is for mapping companies

 

Let’s see how you can map your fields. 

Mapping Fields For People

  1. Click on the People tab. The name field is mandatory, but all other fields are optional. 

  1. Not all fields that you see on the Slintel platform are present on Pipedrive. Only three default fields already exist on Pipedrive: Name, Email, and Phone number. 

 

Other than these three fields, you will have to create fields on Pipedrive for you to map those details from Slintel’s platform to Pipedrive. [Note: The fields you currently see here on the drop-down menu have already been created manually on Pipedrive.] 

 

  1. To create corresponding fields on Pipedrive for mapping People data, go to your Pipedrive account. Click on Settings->Company->Data Fields

  1. Here, you will be able to customize data fields for Person (People) and Organizations. Click on the Person tab, and then click on “Add custom fields”.

  1. To create a new field, click on Add custom fields, and select Person from the drop-down menu. You’ll be able to see a pop-up for Add person field.

 

 

  1. For example, let us create a field for Lead Division, a field that exists on Slintel but not on Pipedrive. Enter Field Name as Lead Division, and Field type as Text. Under Field Properties, you can select where you want to view this field on your Pipedrive account. Once done, click on Save. Scroll down, and you’ll be able to see that a new field has been created for Lead Division.

 

  1. Go back to your Slintel account, and you’ll be able to map the Lead Division field to the field you just created on Pipedrive. This process is instantaneous, and you don’t have to wait for the newly created fields to show up. You can map as many fields as you want. 

 


Mapping Fields For Organizations

  1. Click on the Organization tab. The Company name field is mandatory, but all other fields are optional. 

  1. Not all fields that you see on the Slintel platform are present on Pipedrive. Only three default fields already exist on Pipedrive: Name, Company Website, and Company Phone number.

  1. To create corresponding fields on Pipedrive for mapping People data, go to your Pipedrive account. Click on Settings->Company->Data Fields

  1. Here, you will be able to customize data fields for Organization (Companies). Click on the Organization tab, and then click on “Add custom fields”.

  1. To create a new field, click on Add custom fields, and select Organization from the drop-down menu. You’ll be able to see a pop-up for the Add organization field.

 

  1. For example, let us create a field for a field that exists on Slintel but not on Pipedrive. Enter Field Name as Lead Division, and Field type as Text. Under Field Properties, you can select where you want to view this field on your Pipedrive account. Once done, click on Save. Scroll down, and you’ll be able to see that a new field has been created for Lead Division.

 

  1. Go back to your Slintel account, and you’ll be able to map the Lead Division field to the field you just created on Pipedrive. This process is instantaneous, and you don’t have to wait for the newly created fields to show up. You can map as many fields as you want. 

Mapping Keywords and Technologies

Keywords

You have the option to see keyword intent data from Slintel directly in your CRM. You have the option to select whether you want to see all keywords or select particular keywords that a company is related to. To do this, click on the “Edit” button under the Keyword field. This will open up a settings pop-up. 




This option allows you to map select keywords and categories/all keywords that you want to see on your Pipedrive CRM account. 

  • “Map all keywords” will show you all the keywords for that particular Lead/Contact/Account on your Pipedrive CRM account. 

  • “Select specific categories or keywords” lets you select a broad category or particular keywords that the company uses. 


Filters can help you narrow down your search and only add companies with the criteria you need. They include:

  1. Last detected- This is the last detected date for the particular technology/category

  2. Keyword source- The source from where the technology was detected. These include:

    1. Jobs 

    2. Digital Footprint

    3. Human Curated

    4. People Work Summary

  3. Keyword confidence- Slintel gives you a keyword confidence score that tells you how sure we are about the company using/is related to the keyword. 




You can further choose which fields you want to see on your CRM. Only the fields you select here will be sent to your Pipedrive CRM account for the keywords/categories you have selected. They include:

  1. Keyword 

  2. Confidence Score

  3. Last Detected

  4. Keyword source 


Once done, click on “Save” to save your preferences for keywords. Once you finish the mapping, you’ll be able to see this data on your CRM.

 


Technologies

You have the option to see technographic data directly in your CRM. Select whether you want to see all technologies or select particular technologies that a company uses. To do this, click on the “Edit” button under the Technology field. This will open up a settings pop-up. 


This option allows you to map selected technologies and categories/all technologies that you want to see on your Pipedrive

 account. 

  • “Map all technologies” will show you all the technologies for that particular Lead/Contact/Account on Pipedrive

  • “Select technologies”  lets you select the broad sub-category or particular technologies that the company uses.

Once done, click on “Save and Apply” to save your preferences for technologies. Once you finish the mapping, you’ll be able to see this data on your CRM.



Adding and deleting more fields

Adding

  1. To add more fields, scroll down to the end, and click on Add More Fields. 

  1. You can add as many fields as you want, for any of the Slintel Fields.

 Deleting

  1. To delete fields, just click on the small delete icon next to the new fields created. 

Save And Apply 

Once you are done with selecting and editing all the fields for People/Organizations as per your requirement, just click on the Save and Apply button on the top right corner. 


Note: You will have to do this separately for People and Organization. 

People

  1. Once you are done selecting all your fields for People, click on Save and Apply. 

  1. You will see a message, “Mapping successfully pushed”, and the Save and Apply button will be greyed out. You’re done mapping all your People fields from Slintel to Pipedrive!

Organizations

  1. Once you are done selecting all your fields for Organizations, click on Save and Apply. 

  1. You will see a message, “Mapping successfully pushed”, and the Save and Apply button will be greyed out. You’re done mapping all your Organization fields from Slintel to Pipedrive!
