Previous Step: Connect

Let's configure your newly connected HubSpot account.

You can choose to create a new contact when you export your leads from Slintel to HubSpot. Additionally, Slintel gives you the option to sync your contacts with accounts on HubSpot. While you are creating a contact, if the account does not exist on your HubSpot account, Slintel will create one for you. If it does exist, Slintel will simply map that contact to the related account once you toggle the button (see below).

Once done, click on “Update Settings”.

Field Mapping

Once you have completed the above-mentioned steps you can start mapping your HubSpot fields to Slintel fields by going to the Field Mapping tab so that we know what & where we need to update.

First, click on the Resync button to sync your HubSpot account fields with Slintel. The Resync button will call an API which will fetch all your HubSpot fields to the Slintel field mapper. It is necessary to click on the Resync button if you create any new custom property in HubSpot to reflect that in the Slintel field mapper.

When you start, you will see all Slintel fields for Leads and Companies here. To map the fields, click on the View button.

Start mapping the fields to your HubSpot fields. Save the settings once you are done

A few fields are mapped by default which you can remove if you do not wish to store data in those fields.

[Note] You can now map Psychographic data and Lead ID as well.

If you don’t wish us to touch your existing data we would highly recommend you make a Custom Field (Property) on your HubSpot account with single-line/multi-line text field type. Map this to the Slintel fields you wish to update on HubSpot.
