Previous Step: Configure your account

Once you’re done configuring your Salesforce integration, you can start mapping Salesforce fields to Slintel. Doing this will ensure that the information transferred from Slintel shows up accurately on Salesforce.

Click on the Field Mapping button to start doing this. You will see all Slintel fields for Leads/Contact & Account here, you will have to map the same with Salesforce.

Note: If you have selected “Contacts” in the Configuration stage, you should ideally work on “Contact Mapping”, and vice versa for “Lead Mapping”.

  1. Field Mapping for lead/contact/account gives you the following options for each field:

  • You can overwrite your existing Salesforce data with Slintel data

  • You can choose to only fill your Salesforce fields only when they are blank on Salesforce

  1. For Email fields, you have an additional option to populate this field ONLY when the email has a High Confidence Score (see below). Only the Email field has this additional feature, all other fields have only 2 options.

  1. Technology Mapping

You have the option to see technographic data directly in your CRM. Select whether you want to see all technologies or select particular technologies that a company uses. To do this, click on the “Edit” button under the Technology field. This will open up a settings pop-up.

This option allows you to map selected technologies and categories/all technologies that you want to see on your Salesforce account.

  • “Map all technologies” will show you all the technologies for that particular Lead/Contact/Account on Salesforce.

  • “Select technologies”  lets you select the broad sub-category or particular technologies that the company uses.

Filters can help you narrow down your search and let you add only companies with the criteria you need. They include:

  1. Last detected- This is the last detected date for the particular technology/category

  2. Tech source- The source from where the technology was detected. These include:

    1. Jobs

    2. Digital Footprint

    3. Human Curated

    4. People Work Summary

  3. Tech confidence- Slintel gives you a technology confidence score that tells you how sure we are about the company using that particular technology/category

You can further choose which fields you want to see on your CRM. Only the fields you select here will be sent to your Salesforce CRM account for the technologies/sub-categories you have selected. They include:

  1. Technology

  2. Confidence score

Once done, click on “Save” to save your preferences for technologies. Once you finish the mapping, you’ll be able to see this data on your CRM.

  1. Psychographic Mapping

You have an additional option to map psychographic data under “Account Settings”.

Similar to Technology Mapping, Psychographic Mapping shows you either all terms and phrases associated with an account or shows only the ones that you have selected in this stage at an account level of Salesforce.

You have the option to see psychographic data from Slintel directly in your CRM. You have the option to select whether you want to see all psychographic data or select particular ones that a company is related to. To do this, click on the “Edit” button under the Psychographic field. This will open up a settings pop-up.

This option allows you to map select terms and phrases and categories/all keywords that you want to see on your Salesforce CRM account.

  • “Map all keywords” will show you all the keywords for that particular Lead/Contact/Account on your Salesforce CRM account.

  • “Select specific categories or keywords” lets you select a broad category or particular keywords that the company uses.

Filters can help you narrow down your search and only add companies with the criteria you need. They include:

  1. Last detected- This is the last detected date for the particular technology/category

  2. Keyword source- The source from where the technology was detected. These include:
